Hooray! Clinique added a new makeup product to the popular Chubby Stick family: the Cheek Colour Balm. Since I’m a fan of the Chubby range, I decided to give this ‘chubby little sister’ a review.

The stick comes in four pink/coral colors. I normally tend to choose blushers in sweet candy-ish pink tints, but this time I chose the darkest of the four: ‘Plumped up Peony’. A nice shade for Fall season.

This stick is very handy when it comes to application (no brush needed!) and therefore an easy product for when you’re on the go. I always like to apply products like blusher and eyeshadow with my fingertips, easy and simple, and that’s what makes this stick lovable. You can dab the stick directly onto the apples of your cheeks and blend it with your fingertips towards the hairline. The creamy substance will not dry out thanks to vitamin E and has a nice transparent finish. I myself like a sheer natural effect, but when you’re in for something more dramatic: more layers means more color!

Clinique is known for its thoroughly testing on allergies and irritation, which results in the fact that the stick is 100% perfume free and save to use on sensitive skin. A must for a sensitive (skin) type like me ;).
