Today we are kicking off with a DIY side table project. Just follow the steps and make your own rustic ‘vegetable crate’ side table!
⇒ Step 1. Collect the following material:
- – Crate (secondhand)
- – Table (secondhand)
- – Grey stain
- – Sandpaper
- – Screws and screwdriver
- – Brush
- – Saw
- – Wooden planks
⇒ Step 2. Cleane the table and sand it down.
⇒ Step 3. Screw off the tabletop.
⇒ Step 4. Paint the table with a grey stain to protect the outside of the wood (this way the table can also be used outside!).
⇒ Step 5. Attach two planks firmly to the table’s frame with nails. This will allow you to place the crate on the table and ensure extra hold.
⇒ Step 6. Screw the crate onto the table and voila: your rustic side table is finished!
