There’s no doubt about it, Summer arrived early this year in The Netherlands! The last couple of days were pretty hot. Perfect weather for wearing my Summer dresses. Although I didn’t see the hot weather coming, my legs were already prepared for some sun exposure ;). Lately I’ve been using three skin care products that make my skin soft, smooth, slimmer, firm and hydrated. Ideal for getting your legs into shape for Summer!

The first step in my current body care routine is exfoliation. I’ve been using the ‘Orange Peel Skin’ body scrub from Guinot. This fresh gel scrub has a double exfoliating effect. Scrub grains work on the surface of the skin and exfoliating enzymes dissolve remaining dead cells that have built up on the skin. It promises to reduce cellulite and (nice bonus!) the scrub also contains caffeine, which has a slimming effect on the body.

Second step is intensive nourishment. To accomplish this I’ve been using the Revitalizing Surpreme ‘Global Anti-Aging Body Creme’ from Estēe Lauder. It’s a multi-action body creme with IntuiGen Technology™ which firms, tones and delivers deep, lasting moisture. It has a soft, fresh smell and it leaves my skin feeling supple and revitalized. It is advised to use twice a day, but I only use it in the morning after showering.

Last but not least I enhance my skin with a golden glow. To achieve this I use the ‘Glow Oil’ from Hand Chemistry. This fast-absorbing dry oil is a DHA free alternative to self tan (DHA is the active ingredient in most self tanners and is possibly linked to cancer and DNA damage). Instead of DHA, Glow Oil contains raspberry-based keto-sugar. After 2 – 3 days of use this ingredient  forms a lasting glow on the skin. The oil also contains a delicate golden shimmer for instant radiance :). Tip: make sure you wash your hands thoroughly after use to prevent stains on your skin.

Bye bye dull skin. Hello radiant looking Summer legs!
