— CHANTAL’S DAILY SKIN CARE ROUTINE —
Even though I am 30, I still suffer from blemishes every now and then. Hormonal fluctuations, stress and an unhealthy lifestyle can cause breakouts. But as I get older, I also realize that there are other skin problems that come into play: wrinkles and hyperpigmentation.
What do I do to prevent and eliminate blemishes, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation? I have a 3-step skin care routine that I strictly follow every morning and evening:
1. Cleansing
2. Exfoliating
3. Moisturizing
It’s very important to keep your skin clean so that no inflammation occurs. But don’t overdo it, otherwise your skin will dry out. Cleansing your skin twice a day is sufficient.
The next step is to exfoliate. This removes the layer of dead skin cells, making your skin look radiant and wrinkles less visible.
And finally, hydration is very important. Even if you have an oily skin, your skin needs moisture. In this case for example, choose a fresh gel-cream so your skin will not get shiny.
For my skin care routine I use three products that battle blemishes, and at the same time, soften wrinkles and fade hyperpigmentation:
1. Vichy Pureté Thermale Foaming cleansing water
Rids the skin of impurities, making the complexion radiant and is suitable for sensitive skin.
2. Dr. Jetske Ultee Uncover Exfoliant normal to oily skin
Removes dead skin cells, making the skin appear fresh and smooth. It cleanses the pores and reduces inflammation. It is suitable for sensitive skin and helps prevent acne.
3. La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo + moisturizer
Removes impurities, opens clogged pores and helps prevent the appearance of scars. This cream moisturizes, fights breakouts and fades hyperpigmentation.
By strictly following this skin care routine my skin improved visibly and got a nice and healthy glow!
Beauty TIP: Pamper your skin once a week with a nourishing face mask and create a relaxing moment for yourself :).
